Early sketch perspective section of our proposals for the existing main hall. 40% of the hall is divided off and a mezzanine floor installed. This will house a double size classroom for IT and a Business Management Suite. The school will offer this facility to the local business community outside school hours.
To facilitate this provision, other works to be carried out include the provision of ramps and a platform lift to enable access for all. A new glass lobby to the main entrance and an opened up reception area will greatly improve the public image of the school.
This is the fourth project Burns Guthrie have carried out at Cavendish School. We feel proud to be associated with this friendly and rapidly improving school which is breaking its own records with its exam results.
